Hi, my name is Erika Lee

My name is Erika Lee I am currently a junior majoring in Journalism. Though my academic interests are expansive, my passion ultimately lies in writing. As an aspiring journalist, I believe in the beauty of storytelling and the thrilling experience of documenting the present, the soon to be past. Some of my interests include arts & entertainment, politics, and social issues involving gender and race. I feel deeply about social justice and want to use journalism as a way to bring awareness and positive changes to society and hope to utilize my knowledge of journalism to not only adapt to the rapidly changing world of communication and journalism, but also to innovate and contribute a meaningful impact to it. Something that is unusual about me is that I play bassoon and can make my own reeds and I was about to major in it before entering college.
